’Va Va Vixen’ Is New Shapewear By Raveware

posted in: Press | 0

(Filed Under wholesale Shapewear News). “Bodyshaper Lingerie” is how Raveware president Sean Monahan describes his new shapewear label, “Va Va Vixen.” He claims “our shaper styles can reduce a woman’s dress size up to 2-3x.”

“What makes our patent pending process unique is we have developed a garment that tightens up the waistline and posterior while enhancing the cleavage area,” continued Monahan. “This is not only making a woman appear thinner, but more voluptuous as well. Our shaper garments are all one piece with hidden hook and eyes under a premium quality zipper, push up bras and crotch snaps. On romantic nights, customers can feel great and confident about themselves and look drastically thinner and sexier all at the same time.” He added, “The inside of the shaper is fully lined with soft jersey cotton for optimal comfort.”

Wholesale prices for Va Va Vixen range from $42 to $46 for sizes S-Xl, and $45 to $49 for sizes 1X-3X, with suggested retail prices ranging from $99 to $120. There is no piece minimum at Raveware, only a $100 order minimum. The line is available in black/nude and black/pink, and ships out of Los Angeles within 48 hours.

Las Vegas International Lingerie Show: The Sexy Side of Lingerie

posted in: Press | 0

Disclosure: The International Lingerie Show is a The Lingerie Addict advertiser. However, they did not contribute to the content of this article, and all words are my own.

In the last of our trend reports from this season’s Lingerie Market, I’m talking about my first ever visit to the Las Vegas International Lingerie Show. Being the newbie at a tradeshow can be super hard (you don’t know anyone…no one knows you), but I had a genuinely good time at this one. Not only was everyone incredibly nice and welcoming (I didn’t once have to explain what a blog is!), I also saw a very different and, in some ways, more relevant and inclusive side of the lingerie industry by attending.

The other three tradeshows I went to earlier this year (the Paris Salon International de la Lingerie, Curve New York, and the Designer Lingerie Showcase) all focus on high-end, boutique, and fashion lines, but the International Lingerie Show is very, very much about the sexy lingerie. While there were some brands there which would be a good fit for a traditional boutique (and I’ll be talking about them later on in the article as they’re also the brands I liked most), I saw a lot of sex toy shop friendly ravewear, clubwear, and stripperwear…which, of course, is great because people have all kinds of tastes.

Even more interestingly, though, I found the International Lingerie Show to be radically size inclusive. In a lot of ways, the boutique lingerie industry is just waking up to the fact that women over a size 10 want beautiful lingerie too. But many of the brands at ILS have been making size 3X, 4X, even 5X and beyond for years (in fact, 4 of the 5 brands in this article go up to at least a 3X).

(Filed Under wholesale Men’s Underwear News). Northridge, Calif.-based Raveware Lingerie recently released a boxed men’s line.

“With Raveware, my goal is to offer retailers unique twists to proven silhouettes. When creating our men’s line, I wanted to apply the same formula,” Raveware President Sean Monahan said. “As long as I’ve been in this industry, there has always been a demand in well-priced, well-packaged menswear. We wanted to address that demand while keeping the styling consistent with our innovative looks.”

Raveware’s boxed menswear debut consists of 23 styles, including lamé and powermesh trunks and Lycra, lamé, powermesh and fishnet thongs. Details include animal prints, center zippers, Velcro and clip sides, and light-up designs.

Sizes range from S to XL. The styles wholesale from $5 to $15. U.S. retailers must place a $100 minimum order; international retailers must purchase a $300 minimum. Monahan said initial response to the collection has been “overwhelming.”

Ravewear Lingerie products are available at retailers across the U.S., including Pure Delish in Culver City, Calif., Bourbon Strip Tease in New Orleans and Broadway Boutique in Seattle.
